My passion is Rhodesian War 1965 -1980 history but particularly Rhodesian Air Force operations; and researching Geldenhuys family heritage, links and genealogy.
I was a Flight Commander on Nos 1 and 5 Squadrons, flying Hawker Hunter FGA9 and English Electric Canberra B2 aircraft. I commanded forward airfields FAF2 at Kariba, FAF7 at Buffalo Range, Fireforce Charlie -FFC - at Shabani and retired as a Wing Commander in 1982.
Print-On-Demand (POD) and e-books continue to enjoy increasing popularity. Supplying POD books in the Hauraki and Bay of Plenty regions is becoming more affordable as new technologies are developed.
